I have a 4 month old son as well as a 6 and 5 year old at home. Someone in our group it feels like is getting sick and/or running fever at least once a month these last few months. Mommies if your like me your tired and it is a battle to get your children to stick a thermometer in their mouth and keep it under their tounge until it beeps. It seems like an eternity for the mouth thermometers to beep while your child is jumping around taking it in and out of their mouth or biting on it or not even putting it under their tounge. Nightmare, period the end! So, along comes this blessing, and that is truly what it is, a blessing. You take it off of its dock station and swipe that baby against their foreheads and presto! A temp without the dance and struggle of a regular thermometer. The other option which I find just as easy and maybe even more accurate is the ear option. The reason I say more accurate on this option is because my 5 year old won’t keep his head still for the forehead scan and this option works best for him while the forehead option works best for my 6 year old because she can sit still. It works for all varieties of hyperness haha. I have found both options to be completely accurate when dealing with temps. I have tested it out on myself as well as my husband and three children and compared it to a traditional thermometer. The display screens are easy to read and keeps a log of your 20 most recent temps. It displays both in F and C for those who prefer one method of reading versus the other. All in all I am extremely pleased with it and the results.
